The hotel is in a prominent position in Lauder just off the main road. It is situated in the ideal position for an overnight stay and park and ride into Edinburgh - 35 minutes by regular bus service.
By RoadFrom Edinburgh, take the A7 Hawick road to the city centre outskirts, then the A68. From Glasgow, take the M8 to Edinburgh, then the A720 city by pass south, to Dalkeith, then the A68. From the south, take either the M6 to junction 58, then the A68 north all the way.
By CoachAn excellent network of comfortable coach services link Edinburgh with most major towns and cities in the UK and there is a regular bus service from Edinburgh to Lauder. By AirEdinburgh Airport has regular direct scheduled air services UK wide and to/from many European cities. Call - 0131 344 3136 for more details. Transatlantic flights to Glasgow are linked to Edinburgh by coach. From the airport by road, take the A720 city by-pass south to Dalkeith and then the A68 to Lauder.
By SeaFerry operators, notably DFDS, run regular ferry services from Scandinavia and Western Europe to Newcastle. The new Superfast Ferries terminal at Rosyth (just north of Edinburgh) also now operates to Western Europe. Lauder is then only 1/1-5 hours drive, by taking the A696 north then the A68.
